bosch exxcell 1400 washing maching?

My bosch exxcel 1400 has recently stopped spinning but when put into a cycle it sounds as if it is going through the motions of spinning can anyone diagnose the fault for me there is no fault description on the screen

have you checked that the belt is still on? if it is then its most likely to be a set of motor carbon brushes which is down to wear and tear. not that expensive and preety easy to fit!!
