I have a 7" Minteck Portable DVD Model: MDP-1760 Player and the sound function does not work. I have checked the volume button and also the audio speakers. I have tried just about everything and I just can not figuire it out. I even checked to see if there was a mute button and have not found anything. I can I restore the sound on this player? Please Help I have a long trip with my five year old on Sat. 06/21/08. Thank you so much!!!

check all cables are in fully, sometimes the slightest knock can affect the connection.
