you will need to remove all the screws around the outside. i suggest you lean the dryer on its front as it will be easier to take the back off. There are 3 large screws in the centre of the back steel panel, remove these and that will release the drum from the back panel and you will then see the element. The element is also held to the back panel by three smaller screws.
