cambelt went had head skimmed etc however now new cambelt is fitted it does not run true on the pulley tenshioner ok but prior to cambelt going used to get squeeling noise this explains grooves on inside of camcover it would seem that on fitting new belt the same problem likley to occur any suggestions kia 2.9 diesel

When replacing the belt it is normal practice to replace the tensioner as well, as it is possible that the tensioner was not working correctly and lead to the belt failure!!!
