what does light with red spanner showing ,mean when it comes on the dashboard,ford transit van.35 hundredweight ...125 engine....1953...2004

It just means the van is due a service.
After the service the dealer will clear it from the dash. To do it yourself you can turn the ignition 2 clicks without starting it, press the brake and accelerator pedal down together and hold down for about 15 secs, the symbol should then flash then you just turn off the ignition and it will be gone.
