What are the specs I need to look for in a cd burner for a pentium II w/ windows 98(first edition)...I want to burn copies of my cds to play in my car etc...

compac presario, 512kb, 32xmax cd-rom, 4mb graphics, 100mhz syncdram memory, 100mhz system bus...what all this means I have no idea?

u dont need to worrie about specs all cd burners will fit fine the only hold back will be the speed that it can process data, newer burner will only run as fast as the computer it is in.
