how do i turn off the service/airbag light on a 04 renault kangoo

I have the same problem with my 1999 Kangoo. I was told that its probably something to do with the sensors under the seats apparently dust interfears with them causing the light to turn on. So basically they need a good clean with some switch cleaner but the seats may need to be removed to do this.
