how can i fix my bath taps(ideal standard)?

how do i tighten the taps on my bath when the bath
fits into a recess and the taps are in the middle of the bath unit and not at either end?
I've got a bath spanner but i have'nt got six foot arms!

if you mean in the middle at the back of bath.
and you can't reach them, so you will not be able to tighten them.
