how can i disable my onboard graphics controller as i wont to install a new pny graphic card

you need to go into the bios and disable it.
as it boots up it will tell you which key to press to
enter the bios. normally Del or F2.
without knowing what motherboard it is this is the best
answer i can give. you could check the manual or if you
dont have one you may be able to download it.
