wharfdale ctv2122f intergrated freeveiw, perfect for last 3 months, now wont pick up freeview channels at all, any ideas?

I've noted that they appear sensitive to antenna connections particularly the coaxial plug.Mine are all fitted with top quality plugs and so far so good,although i had to fit one with an amplifier due to signal loss/pixalation.Not sure if this will fix,but it's a cheap test.
