F61 CODE ON MY SA-HT650?

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A SA-HT650 DVD HOME THEATER SYSTEM. IT WORKED GREAT FOR A FEW MONTHS BUT NOW WHEN I TRY TO TURN IT ON I GET A F61 ERROR FOR ABOUT TWO SECONDS AND IT GOES RIGHT BACK OFF. WHAT IS THE FIX FOR A F61 ERROR?
I HAVE ONLY HAD THE UNIT FOR A FEW OF MONTHS.

F61 usually indicates d.c. at the output terminals of the power amplifier/speaker connections, often due to failure of the output amp. or faulty power supply to it. On some older amps a faulty fan would cause it.

If it's a new poduct & only a few months old, you'd be covered by Panasonics warranty. Contact Panasonic for advice to get it repaired free of charge.
