I have a magnavox MPD845 portable DVD player and the screen when turned on always says open. Even when it is closed. The open button still works and the DVD compartment will stay closed. Any ideas on how to fix this?
It sounds like the pin that tells the dvd player that is closed is broken, there is a little hole roughly at 2:00 inside the DVD player, insert a paper clip trying to push the sensor.
