Everything appears to operate as it should but element does not operate. Machine out of warranty but only used about a dozen times. Element in good condition. Any ideas?

Remove the Element cover at the rear of the machine. Above the heating element is 3 thermisters. One of these (an end one) has a small hole in the rear. Press a pin into this hole and it will click as it resets.
However, there is a reason it has tripped and it may be that the bearings are failing.
