My Mountfield lawmmower is running too fast and blowing out a lot of smoke?

If it has a Briggs Classic, Sprint or Quattro engine, then you have probably being mowing under some bushes or shrubs and have caught the govenor which has altered the running speed. Wouldn't use until it is adjusted back to the correct running speed otherwise you could cause serious damage.
