replace battery?

when replacing a 6volt battery on a 1950 ford tractor

to remove- take off earth lead first if you are not sure which is earth-follow leads and the one bolted to chassis or frame is the earth lead, then take off other lead [known as live lead],remove battery securing clamps and take out battery. to refit -ensure battery is correct way round for leads,re fit securing clamp, then[ensuring posts and terminals are clean]fit live lead finally fit earth lead.
