I also have this model with the same problem. I removed the hinge & took it to a local car bodyshop who were able to mig weld it for me

Don't go near advent machines again, they might have good specification at reasonable price, but they are poorly build and there's no customer service! [their website (thetechguys.com) is down as I write this].
