how can I get the ecu immobilser reset?

Hi its a citeroen berlingo van, changed the engine everything went well but would not start, been told its the ecu immobiliser does anyone know how we can fix this or bypass it?

it may not be the ecu imobilassior you will probaly have a sensor not put on which is called the crank sensor which is at the bottom of the engine tucked behind possiably the starter
