i own a 1997,1.8ls vectra and the engine management light has started to come on,also when i reach about 65mph it starts blowing a lot of white smoke out the exhaust,any ideas people?

Would recommend you get someone with a diagnostic scanner to check for fault codes. If the engine management light is coming on then codes will be stored on the ECU which should tell you the exact problem.
Is it running lumpy when it starts chucking out smoke?
