broken plug?

I have a dodge durango, it has a (iguess) heat shield around it. The ceramic broke and we finally got a socket on it, i believe the top of the plug is stripped or something the socket turns, tried several sockets, cant see it too well, socket seems to be ok. won't budge. Any ideas on how to remove it...please

Hi Steve, There are special sockets in the market that will do the job. If you go to a good tools specialist, they will help you or tell you where to buy the socket or you may be able to borrow it by leaving a deposit.
Have you asked any of your local garages?

This socket looks like any normal socket, only differrence is it has metal pins inside.

Good luck Steve
