How do I fix a broken rear seat release catch, VW Polo?

My car is a VW polo SE TDI 5 DOOR HATCHBACK 2002, ( door), 1422, Diesel. The rear seat release catch (used to fold seat down) has broken and doesn't operate. How can I fix it? It's the bigger side of the split seats.

You'll need to get a replacement cable, either from VW or a breakers. You will need to remove the covering and foam to gain access, you'll be able to follow the route of the old cable.
