Nissan Micra?

Nissan Micra MReg (1995) 1000c

Had trouble with the fuel pump(electric). Took it out- tested it- did not work- tapped it a few times. Tested it straight to battery and it worked. Put it in again no luck starting the car. Took it out, tested it - it worked. Started testing the wire found no power somewhere between pump and where wires dissapear into carpet. Any ideas?

Is there an inherant problem with this. Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram on the NET.

Thanx

before you do any thing try the relays near the fuse box tap them and check the electrical wires near the fuel pump, it is more likely a lose connection or lose relay.

suggest you take a feed from the ignition circuit and use an in-line fuse to power it. This will save you trying to find the break in the original circuit
