peugeot speedfight 2 belt problems?

i was riding my bike and the drive belt went, sooo i bought a new one and fitted it, but now the back wheels constantly spins, and it doesnt pull away, it just goes durrrrrrrrr,... cna anyone help?? i tried re fitting it but it still doesnt work :S please can anyone help

Check the variator rollers, when the belt goes you have to remove and clean all parts due to belt particles going everywhere.
