If there's an led on on the charger, does it light up.
If it doesn't light up then either the fuse on your plug is blown or the charger is faulty.
If theres no led on the charge, with an ELECTRICAL DETECTOR you can test to see, whether electricity is going to the machine or not.
If power is going to the machine, then there's a faulty part causing that.
Don't go near advent machines again, they might have good specification at reasonable price, but they are poorly build and theres no customer service! [their website (thetechguys.com) is down as I write this].
