how do i replace a heater matrix on a laguna 1.8?

My heater blows cold whilst at low speeds, I have been advised to replace the Matrix and need to know what must be done to complete the job. I have tried to bleed the system but this has made no difference
The car is a Renault Laguna 1.8 1999

Hi Jim. Taking out heater rads is a bit like brain surgery but the Laguna is not the worst of them. In the engine compartment remove the screws from the bulkhead cover to allow the inside pipes a little free play. Remove the glove box noting the screws hidden under the glovebox "carpet" on the bottom edge. Remove the clamp on the aluminium pipes(This is about two thirds of the way up the pair of pipes. ) Unscrew the lower clamp that secures the alloy pipes into the plastic matrix fitting. You should be able to prise the pipes upwards and out of the matrix fitting. Remove the two screws securing the matrix, the upper one is buried up at the back(hope you have a handy socket-set!!) The matrix can be pulled out by hand once the clips at each end have been pulled back by hand.

if you have aircon it is going to be expensive i am just about to fix mine no air con there are to pipes held with a clip after draining system release this and withdraw pie cover then go into passenger footwell take out glovebox gives you more room then there are a couple of screws and maybe a clip like on air filter get ready for some water then withdraw and change
if you have aircon take it to a garage you have to take out most of the dash goodluck
