BSOD @ startup - XP?

Had some problems with spyware, malware, etc. Have sorted all that out. All HJT logs and others @

Have also been having problems at startup. Xp gets to the loading screen then a blue screen appears. Have had the problem a while but recently it can take up to 10 times until the computer gets into XP.

Safe mode starts 1st time though.

Been doing that still get the problem though.

Even tried the system restore, defrag, reg cure, etc.

You could try pressing the F8 key several times at startup and choose "last known good boot" from the menu. This starts the pc up from the last time it was sucessfull at boot up.
