All u need is a cloverleaf power cable - five bucks on eBay. The PSU transformer is built in on all Armada 15XX/17XX laptops.

Have you tried the manufacturer www.hp.com ?

Or in the UK Maplins or the US Radio Shack. Take the old one in and match it.
