Aibag light flashes then stays on?

I have fitted an after market steering wheel on my saxo . How do you stop the airbag light from flashing and is it possible to make the circuit think that the airbag is still in place.

2.2ohm resistor in the connectors will make the system think its all connected and keep the light off
