My crafsman riding mower model #917.258523 keeps blowing fuses. Please help.

If its a intermitent short you will have to install fuses to each componet and when one of the fuses you install blows it will narrow the search ....in alot of cases this might even fix the problem because its not dependent on just one fuse or by moving wires around you actually fix the short

where the fuse is located put a test light in line where fuse is suppose to be or a 12 volt buzzer
as you move wires around or disconnect items you`ll find the short when the buzzer quits or light goes off ..
works great with shorts in automobiles too .....
