Recipient of a 1990 Electrolux Ambassador. The toe switch doesn't work and the instructions warn not to detach from wall switch without first turning off using toe switch. Can you help please? Jan

the plastic attachment broke off the floor part of the vacumn.Motor is great but now I cannot use. It looks like I could replace the attachment to the mortor .
