Go to a working computer - look on internet for Firefox (an excellent browser) download to a memory stick. Take stick to your machine with broken IE. Install Firefox. When working use add/delete programmes to remove IE if you can. Use firefox to find new copy of IE. Download and install. Compare IE with Firefox. Decide Firefox much better. Use IE as backup browser.
