Checking if timing is out on Renault Clio?

My Clio wants to cut out when the engine is idling/ticking over. When slowing down and going into 1st gear I have to rev to keep it from stalling.

Could this be the timimg and how do I find the timing screw. Is there a timimg screw on an 02 Clio?

sounds like you need the throttle body cleaned.do this using carb cleaner also check air pipes for cracks or leaks
