my dvd (AMW) make horizontals lines when I try to see a movie?

Every time that I tur on my DVD player star to make horizontal lines on theTV which they go up, I open it to look for a traking or somthig like that. I have no idea of how to fix it?

My Kenwood dvd player did the same thing and I ended up replacing the cord between the tv and dvd player and the problem is fixed. Even try fiddling with the cord that connects to the tv as that also made my lines disappear.
