How do I clean my xp?

I run xp professional SP3 but now I want to cleanup and start afresh. Unfortunately the xp CD I have is only SP2 and windows wont revert to the previous state because as it says " windows wont continue because the system you are using is newer than the one on CD". How can I completely cleanup and start anew?
