Iveco daily starting problem?

Hi i've just had an engine replaced in my 1998 iveco daily 35/10 (2.8 turbo) it all seemed to be fine ran ok etc, it was left sat for a while, i have gone to start it and it cut out and won't start again, it turns over, fuel seems to be getting to injectors (may have been air in line but seems to have gone) but still won't start i have heard about a fuel cut off could it be that? any ideas would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi,
I have a 2003 Mk 3 Iveco Iris Bus Daily and you have to turn the ignition key, press a button on the dash to turn on the ignition lights, then further turn the key to start the engine.
I can start the engine with this sequence several times then suddenly, if you go through the sequence of turning the key, press the button on the dash and no lights come on and just nothing happens. Leave the vehicle for half an hour and it will start using the same sequence. Does anyone have experience of this problem as I just don't have a clue.
Thanks in anticipation Dave C.............

my iveco daily had the not start when hot problem and is now fixed but im sorry to say its an expensive repair. £600 +vat to recondition the 4 injectors , the seals were gone . this can be tested with a simple leak test on the injecters, should cost aprox £45 to test

the reason your iveco is turning over but not startin unless you spray easystart is that the timing chain may have slipped this happened to me!!

any one still getting problems with there iveco daily vans or iveco all up

My iveco would crank but not start. It turned out to be the ignition barrel, it has 2 x 12volt rails and the rail that is used for stating (ignition, injectors)was cooked. The rail that feeds the dash lights and accessories was fine, so appeared to be working.

Hi guys, I have a 50C13. It just cut and won't start again using the starter. If I spray quick start or push start it then it fires up. The engine turns over when I turn the key, just won't fire. I thought it could be a voltage drop of sorts, so I had the other van boost it, still nothing. Any ideas?
