how can i replace my alternator in a 93 corolla?

my alternator died in my 93 toyota corolla and obviously need to replace it. i have taken off the adjustment bracket (assuming thats what it is called) and a bolt connecting wires to the alternator and yet i still cant get it off. what else needs to come off to replace it. it is an ac delco alternator.

Look under the alternator, sometimes there are hidden bolts. Also, alternators can be very difficult to get in and out of the little space of a toyota, you may need to find something like a crow bar for a little leverage. Pay close attention to how you took it out so that you can easily put it back in. I have replaced mine about 3 or 4 times in the last year because mainly what you buy are re-builds, make sure you get one with a warranty. E-mail me if you have more questions jenfebo@bresnan.net
