vw transporter (r reg) struggles to start when cold?

takes 3/4 times to start when cold but once warm starts first time? is it my glow plugs?

yes probably if you turn her off when you have got it started when cold then turn it over again and she fires straight away its probably the glow plugs. i had the same problem there only 20 quid for four plugs can be hard to get at the last one along. and mines an r reg 1000 td.
