my Garmin NUVI 310 can't locate satelites?

My Garmin SatNav310 is not able to find satelites.I have done a full re-boot but still not working.
Garmin don't want to know as it is out of warranty Halford's can only do the same re- boot as I have done.
Can anyone help??

My garmin Nuvi 310 came on soon after starting on my vehicle. it's showed perfect and soon after for about few minutes it's stopped tracking because of poor sateilles reception.
Next day doing same thing.

Now what must I do to have it sort out.
