my bernina 807 slightly slows downs then speeds up ie in gentle pulses?

although motor sounds ok it does not keep to a perfectly constant speed; not really a problem but am wondering if it can be fixed or is it terminal Thanks DB

Sounds like a foot control problem, mightb just be a few carbons broken away.
