just cleared out my Indesit dryer - this is what was wrong:
Some lint had built up on the inside of the machine, blocking water flowing through to the outside where the pump is located to pump the water away. After a quick clean up earlier this week, the dryer worked great, but today it blocked up again. I removed the condensor unit from the bottom, it was filthy. We gave the machine a really good clean and its now been running through 3 loads of washing. It eventually trips the RCD if the water builds up too high.
