Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 gls Nreg. I have water soaking frontcarpets, i have investigated and there is no problem with either heater or hose. Is it possible for water to come up through grommets in floor, i would be most grateful for suggestions, Thanks.

theres a filter in the engine bay that if clogged lets the wter back into car. pop bonnet. in center of engine bay next to window is plastic drain. next to fuel filter( to the left )just pull out. probably full of leaves. it allows water from windows and bonnet area to drain.
