Gainsborough 10.5 Deluxe is leaking?

i have taken the plastic cover off and detached the shower head and cable..........and the white plastic tube coming from inside the shower has a leak, not from the main pipe, but from a small seperate tube that seems to lead off it and into nowhere?? what is this pipe for? and how do i stop it leaking, currently i have chewing gum doing the job, but i am running low on hubba-bubba and i fear the worst.....help please!!

Yes, your pressure relief device is gone. There should be a small plastic ball that fits in the pipe leading off. If that's missing you need another one from the spares site. It's just to screws to undo, take off and replace, so it's pretty easy stuff. Just make sure you switch the electricity off before you do anything.

Hi Nicola, today we had the same problem and this is what I found on Gainsborough's site. Hopefully this helps. But we are looking at a new shower.
if you go on gainsboroughs site they have a diagram there and you can actually order spare parts. Yours sounds like the outlet pipe and cost nearly a tenner. but advise is that when it leaks behind the unit do not use!!!!!!
kind regards Marion
