Our dishwasher will not empty. The ECO 45 & Fast 40 lights are flashing together.
I have held the select button in after turning the machine off for a minute but it defaults then to 3 hour delay!
I have taken the filter out and cleaned it I also manually emptied the machine.
I then managed to get the normal programme to run and the machine filled up again but as before the base of the dishwasher has water in it but the programme will not proceed to empty?
lukes talking nonsense your pump is blocked, drain manually, turn appliance on its head, remove bottom panel, remove pump carefully ( dont lose the o ring ) remove obstruction from impellor of pump and reassemble

I have had this fault with many FDW models hotpoint say the heater has blown but I changed heaters and still the fault remained. I would advise you scrap the appliance unfortunatly.
