Have a real problem starting on really cold mornings, have to wind the motor for ages coughs and splutters non stop, will eventually take but can seriously take 10-15 minutes, any idea's?

sounds like the same problem mine had, after replacing the air intake pipe because it was split(check yours)still had problem every now and then car splutted and revs went really low untill the engine got to normal running temperature later found out it was idle control valve might pay you to have yours checked out hope this helps
