hi can you help i have uninstaled some programs of my computer about 2 weeks ago and now my cd dvd drives dont work ijust get this message Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Hi Daz, click on my computer, right click on blank space,click on properties then click on hardware, find the cd-dvd drives and click on the cross, this will show you the cd-dvd drives installed, uninstall all the drives by right clicking each drive in turn and clicking on uninstall, reboot pc then windows should reinstall them, this will take a few minutes if you have several drives,regards Garry
