hi patrick, you dont need ram mate thats memory, its refering to space on the hard drive. check if your hard drive is partitioned(it should be) if it is all your important stuff will be on the c drive and gets full up quick when installing lots of programs,on your d drive you should have plenty space (i'm assuming!) so when installing your printer software change the destination drive to the d drive and it should install ok, hope this helps.

Installing a printer should use a nominal amount of hard drive space, you probably need to upgrade your RAM. This sounds simple, but there are many types of RAM out there. I'd highly suggest hiring a qualified tech to help you with the decision.

Please note: GeekSquad does not usually qualify. They rarely know the answer and will attempt to sell you whatever they can. Hire a REAL tech.

You can upgrade. Put more memory and buy a larger hard drive.

Cleaning up your HD may help; you can start by removing all unwanted programs and cleaning the temp directories. You can also clean out the cache of your internet browser.
