LCD TV split screens 3/4 of the way up?

My LCD TV BUSH LCD 32" TV HD ready. IDLCD32TV27HD splits 3/4 of the way up the screen. The top 1/4 is ok but the rest is as if the colour has been turned up to full. On black pictures I notice vertical lines also on each side.
