How can I take the water pump of a Gilera 125 DNA apart?

I did hit it on the front (impeller) with no effect then at the back (fan) with no effect. Does the fan unscrew? Does anybody have a workshop manuel which I can perhaps download or just the part about the waterpump

what ever you do dont seperate the crankcase halfs as the other person said its totally unnecessary and will be a total waste of time the waterpump is just bolted to the side of the engine as i said and a totally seperate component. lobofuego dont give out false information and bad advise to people it will confuse them and cost them money!

what a load of cr*p the last bloke said !you cannot service the waterpump itself its a sealed unit it is held on by four screws around the edge of it (ITS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ENGINE AS YIOU SIT ON THE BIKE)also you will have to remove the waterpipes which are attached to it with hose clamps .get a new one or secondhand one from partsearch uk 09061119999 then refit in reverse order making sure you line up the holes in the drive wheel of the pump with the pegs on the magneto on the engine ,run the engine with the header tank bottle cap off with it full to the max mark to make sure it has no air in the system 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water you can also squeeze the waterpipes to help move the air to the top of the bottle ok good luck with it ,adam,
