Belkin N1 Router wont connect to Windows XP Computer?

I have recently brought the Belkin N1 Wireless Modem Router. I had no troulbe at all setting it up with my Windows Vista Laptop but i cant seem to get it to connect to my XP computer. I have plugged the USB adapter in and set it up, but i cant get an internet connection or even get it to connect to the modem. I followed the CD & set it up by the Ethernet Cable to start with (like it said to do, & how i did my laptop) but it stops & says it cannot connect.

Does anyone know how to do it?

On your XP machine look at the Network Connections via Control Panel.

You should see a Wireless Network Connection - it may well have a red cross in it saying it's turned off.

Right clikck on the icon and select View Available Wireless Networks. You should see your own router and those of people nearby. Click on the one you want.

If all this fails you may have a wireless card / driver issue. There's a repair/test button you might try.
