tv in standby mode-remote lost, buttons on tv do nothing so i can't even turn it on--sony trinitron model KV2964MT, i am hooked up to a satellite receiver, so that remote is the one i use, but as i said, i can't turn the tv on with just the buttons on the front of the tv. standby light is on,not blinking,if i push power button, red light goes off, but tv does not come on. help!

is there any buttons to change the channel up or down? try pressing one of these (hold one in for 2 seconds) this works with mine
