my Pfaff creative 1471 stops in the middle of sewing a seam. Then needs the power turned off then back on
to resume sewing.

Hello Karen,
Difficult to know whether it is a foot control problem or a motor problem or just a small break in the cable from the foot control, the only way to find out is to take it in for repair.
